Using E-Books to Promote and Market

You may notice that throughout this website, I often offer downloadablee-Books either as a free gift.  I also offer free downloadable e-Booksto my newsletter subscribers as a way to say thank you for allowing meto stay in contact with them with some of the latest tips, ideas andinformation marketing and building a home based business online.

Ifyou are not familiar with e-books, an e-book is simply a dressed up pdf(portable document file).  What I like about an e-book pdf is that itis portable.  I download them an can read them on my smart phone when Ihave down time.  So just like the name suggests, they are portable.

Ane-Book is a pdf file with the addition of a nice cover that is an imagefile.  So it is really a book that can be downloaded and taken anywheremy and your reader wants to take it.

As a product, an e-book isa wonderful item to sell.  From a sellers standpoint, there is nothingto stock or to send out.  When somebody buys information from me I candeliver it in the form of a nice e-book simply by sending the buyer alink to download it.  That's it.

The ideal situation is to have your own information product to sell but you can also use a marketplace called ClickBank.

Clickbankis a huge market place that has been in business since the early daysof Internet marketing and is among the most trusted marketplaces to dobusiness.

So,if you have an interest, passion or hobby which you could create aninformation based product.  Creating an e-Book that could be sold overthe the ClickBank marketplace gives you a ready made sales forcenumbering in the hundreds of thousands.  Now that's leverage.
